Alt Mölln
Economic Advantages and Idyllic Surroundings |
Alt Mölln is in the middle of the Duchy of Lauenburg County and offers many advantages,
because of its immediate proximity to Moelln, the town of the "Eulenspiegel" with its
18.000 inhabitants. Its delightful location in a glacial valley makes this place stand out:
over 900 years old, an independent township with around 780 inhabitants, but almost merged
with the second biggest city of the Duchy of Lauenburg County, ideal in combining work with
a high quality of life. Here there is still an active community in the village.
Agriculture plays a fundamental role in the region of Alt-Mölln in spite of the structural
change. Farms make their mark still on the rural village idyll. So Mölln is an attractive location
but at the same time an admired day trip destination with a huge and varied choice of holiday
apartments and guest rooms.
