The jumping mouse Diddl hops through many childrens' rooms. Since 1993 it has leapt to international success from Geesthacht. Kjeld Schiötz founded the Depesche Sales Co. Ltd. Company KG in 1985 and moved their head office into the Duchy of Lauenburg County. There were plots of land - and very close to Hamburg.

The metropolitan region looms large in the thinking of the company. Keywords are transportation, importing, the media and creative employees. Since then around 400 people now work for Depesche.

What started with a greetings postcard and with the cartoon figure invented by Thomas Goletz is now a wide range of trendy products. From soft toys to school items, from calendars to shoes and bags. They develop and sell everything themselves. Today, and from Geestacht, numerous cartoon friends and relatives have joined Diddl, pleasing their fans in 26 countries and in 16 languages.
